YANGON, Jan 22 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's parliament, made up of two Houses, has resumed its 11th session in Nay Pyi Taw, parliament sources said on Tuesday.

The sessions of both House of Representatives (Lower House) and House of Nationalities (Upper House) were first separately reconvened earlier on Monday before the two-house Union Parliament session followed in the afternoon.

The parliament has planned two months' duration of the 11th regular session, Speaker of the Union Parliament U T Khun Myat told the resumed session, calling on parliament members to cooperate and participate in the approval of laws as well as other parliamentary work process.

A total of 33 bills are under processing with six in the Union Parliament, 19 in the House of Representatives and eight in the House of Nationalities, he said.

During its first day session, the Union Parliament agreed to Myanmar's accession to Vienna Convention on Road Traffic 1968 and Vienna Convention on Road Signs and Signals 1968.
