MADRID, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Monday with the benchmark index Ibex-35 up 0.54 percent, or 51.30 points, to close at 9,468.60 points.
A total of 28 of the selected 35 large companies rose in the day.
Steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal advanced 2.62 percent, being the top gainer of the session. Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa rose 2.60 percent and infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas went up 2.56 percent.
Telecommunication company Cellnex fell 1.34 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Electricity company Endesa went down 0.51 percent and Spain's second largest bank BBVA was down 0.44 percent. Enditem
