Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- The gold price in Hong Kong went up 108 Hong Kong dollars to open at 12,490 dollars (about 1,596.48 U.S. dollars) per tael on Monday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.(1 U.S. dollar equals to 7.82 HK dollars)
